The i-STAT Ceramic Conditioning Cartridge is the cleaning cartridge designed for use with the i-STAT®1 handheld system to clean the connector pins in the analyser that connect to the electrodes on the cartridges, it consists of an aluminium base that supports a ceramic "strip", which is a white strip of Alumina that is held down by a brass retainer and retainer screw.
The i-STAT Ceramic Conditioning Cartridge may be used up to 100 times before the strip is worn and needs to be rotated or up to 200 times before the strip must be replaced.
For use with the i-STAT®1 handheld analyser.
